Fergus McClelland, FSPA
When only 11, Fergus was chosen to play the lead character in the film "Sammy Going South" (released in the USA as "A Boy Ten Feet Tall"). Fergus played alongside idols of the 1960’s such as Edward G. Robinson, Peter O’Toole, Anne Bancroft, Peter Finch and many more. The film, a masterpiece by Alexander MacKendrick, was influential for a generation - and Sammy, the little tough boy, became a role model to many.
Fergus went on to work in other films and spent two years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has performed before live audiences of over 3000 people as well as live TV appearances in front of 20 million viewers. It is estimated that, over the time of his whole career, Fergus has been watched by over a 100 million people world wide.
Despite his successes, Fergus is to this day remarkably down to earth. He decided to change careers in his early twenties. Fascinated by the power of sound, he went into audio engineering. He was always fascinated by psychology in general and the psychology of sound in particular. He also studied NLP and contributed his insights to the new field of psycho-acoustics and was soon running events for various organisations, one being the London "Yes" group.
Fergus found his calling in enabling people of all walks of life to unlock their true potential through working with them on their voices. He discovered that life events leave a vocal fingerprint in our voices and what is needed to change someone’s voice - and their outlook to life. When Fergus is working with clients in public presentations, group seminars, or one-to-one, it becomes clear that he does much more than voice training - he uses advanced NLP and psycho-acoustics to help clients break through their challenges. |
